Welcome, I'm
Birder, nature guide, and ecologist with a passion for photography and travelling. My obsession with nature started young, led me to a BSc in Biology and MSc in Forest & Nature Conservation, and ended up at the beautiful things I'm doing now, which are guided bird excursions, photography, and ecological fieldwork.
A big part of that fieldwork happens in Georgia, where I count raptor migration with Batumi Raptor Count — a volunteer since 2021, a team member since 2024, and by now one of the main parts of my life. It has taken me from long days on the stations counting migrating harriers, buzzards, and eagles, to co-authoring research based on the data we collect. I just keep coming back every year, of course for the birds, but mostly for the people. To be in this beautiful place, with beautiful people, doing what you love the most... it's the best feeling!
